Is Game Vista Guide a casino or betting site?
No. We review video games sold on Steam. None of them let you bet or win real money, and we do not link to casinos, betting or gambling services of any kind.
What kinds of games do you cover?
Card, dice, pachinko and reel-based roguelikes and strategy games on Steam for PC: games where luck is part of the design but skill decides the outcome.
How do scores work?
Each game gets five scores out of 100: strategy depth (25%), luck design (20%), replay (20%), style (15%) and value (20%). The final score is the weighted average, rounded to a whole number. Tiers are named after cards: Ace is 90+, King 85+, Queen 80+, Jack 75+.
What is the luck-vs-skill meter?
An editorial estimate, from 0 to 100, of how much a typical run depends on randomness rather than your decisions. It is not part of the score.
How does Spin work?
You choose luck or skill, a mechanic and a budget. The wheel fills with matching games and stops on one at random. It is a fun way to pick your next game, nothing more.
Are prices up to date?
We list the US Steam list price at the last update, before discounts. Always check the Steam page before you buy.
Do developers pay for reviews?
No. Scores, tiers and positions in our hands are never for sale.
Can I suggest a game?
Yes, through the contact form. We cover games where luck is a mechanic, as long as there is no real-money gambling involved.
