♣ Pachinko · No. 8 at the table

BALLIONAIRE

A roguelike where you build a pachinko-style board out of triggers. You do not aim the balls; your strategy is in the board you assemble to meet rising score targets.

Excellent. An easy pick for anyone who likes the genre.

Sit down if

You enjoy watching an engine you built run itself.

Walk away if

You want precise control over every move.

♠The table

You start with a simple board and a few balls. Each round, you drop balls and they bounce through the board, scoring when they hit triggers. Between rounds you add, remove and rearrange triggers to reach higher targets.

♥How a hand plays

Triggers interact: some multiply scores, some create more balls, some react to other triggers. Placement matters, and combos can become wildly powerful. It is part engine-builder, part physics toy.

♣Where luck comes in

Ball physics are random, so every drop is a little different. But a well-built board makes the outcome reliable. It is the most hypnotic game at our table to watch.

The luck meter is our estimate of how much a typical run depends on chance. It is not part of the score. How we estimate it.

♦Look & sound

Clean, colourful visuals with satisfying sounds for every hit. It is a pleasure to watch big combos explode.

♠Value & PC

Cheap, Verified on Steam Deck, with a sandbox mode and Steam Workshop support.

Ballionaire is pachinko as an engine-building puzzle. It is hypnotic and satisfying, and every board you build feels like your own machine.
