♠The table
Six contestants compete on a game show run by Lady Luck. Each character plays differently: the Warrior is straightforward, the Thief steals, the Robot gambles on a total, the Inventor builds gadgets, the Witch casts spells, and the Jester plays with a deck. Each character has several episodes with twisted rules.
♥How a hand plays
Every turn you roll your dice and place them into equipment: a sword that takes any number, a shield that needs a six, a gadget that splits a die in two. The fun is in making bad rolls useful. Equipment grows as you level, and the backpack becomes a little puzzle of its own.
♣Where luck comes in
Rolls are random, but the game is about managing them. Good equipment choices turn almost any roll into something useful. It sits right in the middle between luck and skill.
The luck meter is our estimate of how much a typical run depends on chance. It is not part of the score. How we estimate it.
♦Look & sound
Bright, funny cartoon style with great character designs and a catchy chiptune soundtrack by Chipzel. The game-show theme gives it real charm.
♠Value & PC
