Why our lounge has no real money at the table

♠The look, not the stakes

Reels, dice, chips and cards are wonderful game design tools. The games we review use them as mechanics inside a game you buy once. You cannot bet money on them, and nothing you win has cash value.

♥What we will never cover

We do not review, promote or link to casinos, betting sites, sweepstakes, gacha with paid randomised items, or any product where real money can be won or lost on chance.

♣Why the line matters

Games of luck can be thrilling because nothing real is at stake. Once money enters, the design goal changes from fun to retention. We prefer games that want you to enjoy a run and then put the controller down.

♦If gambling is a problem

If you or someone you know is struggling with gambling, seek help from a local support service. Our responsible gaming page has more information.
